CAROL HOWARD-KILLORAN has been very busy building a new home while still finding time for her passion … fused glass. Her exquisite plates, platters and bowls were showcased at the recent Red Trillium Studio & Garden Tour in West Carleton, Ontario and are now featured at Studio L'Artizan, along with her beautiful fused glass pendants and dream catcher.

‘Mountainscapes & Summits' are also featured this summer at the Studio. JACK STEKELENBURG believes that one man's junk can be another's treasure and the evidence is clearly found in his backyard, which is filled with an array of discarded industrial and farm implements he uses to create his metal sculptures.

Jack will be visiting Nepal and the Himalayas this Fall. He has been planning a trek to Mt. Everest 's base camp for the past 5 years and his Mountainscapes & Summits series has been inspired by this upcoming trip. As well as the sculptures exhibited at Studio l'Artizan, more of his artwork may be seen at the Parkdale Gallery in Ottawa ( www.parkdalegallery.com ) and, by appointment, at his home-based ‘Walden Three Studio and Art Gallery '.
